Mother’s Refuge is a faith-rooted mission in Independence, Missouri, that shelters and equips homeless, pregnant, and parenting young women. Since 1987, they’ve provided a maternity home for moms ages 12–21 and a transitional living program with independent apartments, wraparound case management, therapy, education and job support, plus aftercare. Their goal is to break cycles of poverty and trauma so moms and their children can thrive long term.
