Salt and Light Ministries KC is a grassroots, faith-driven outreach serving high‑need communities in South Kansas City and Grandview. Founded by David and Rebecca McCorn after a season of deep prayer, the ministry “adopts” apartment complexes, schools, and neighborhoods through consistent presence, hot meals, block parties, kids’ programs, and prayer. From church-in-the-park services to school-based Bible/apologetics clubs and youth mentoring, Salt and Light focuses on relational evangelism, family restoration, and partnering with local ministries to bring hope where it’s needed most.
